Our People
Ugo Ben
Dr. Ugo Ben obtained his Bachelor of Pharmacy and Master’s degrees from Universities of Jos and Lagos, Nigeria respectively. In 2004, he obtained a PhD degree with strong interest in drug formulation from the prestigious Monash University, Melbourne Australia. Prior to his graduate studies in Australia he had gained over eight years of professional and teaching experience in various hospitals, retail and the Pharmacy faculty.
On completion of the American National Association of Boards of Pharmacy’s (NABP) Foreign Pharmacists Graduate Equivalency Examinations (FPGEE) in 2005 he accepted a job at Kroger Pharmacy as a Pharmacist Co-Manager for 5 years. He later joined Walmart Pharmacy where he was a Senior Pharmacist for over 10 years. He brings a wealth of experience to our Pharmacy.
Ben is currently licensed in the State of Tennessee and has certification in Immunization, Medication Therapy Management (MTM), Community Pharmacy-Based Point-of-Care-Testing, Psychiatric Pharmacotherapy and First Aid administration. He is certified as a Compounding Pharmacist by the American College of Apothecaries (ACA).
Ben is passionate about people and has a gifted spirit of empathy. He is very informative, friendly, and enjoys telling stories and hearing other people’s. His love for personalized care enables him to initiate and implement top notch clinical pharmaceutical care services for diverse client base.
Dr. Ben is a registered member of the American Pharmacists Association (APhA), National Community Pharmacist Association (NCPA), the International Pharmaceutical Federation (FIP) and once served on the Board of Belmont University’s Continue Education Committee.

Michelle Sacco
Michelle is the Pharmacy Manager and heads our compounding services. She is a certified Pharmacy Technician.
She obtained her Bachelor degree in Chemistry from Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU) and a certificate in Compounding from the Professional Compounding Center of America (PCCA).
Michelle is very passionate and loves to go above and beyond in helping patients and customers.
